2. Trigger Shot & Egg Retrieval: When follicles reach 18–22mm, an hCG trigger injection is given. Exactly 36 hours later, eggs are collected via transvaginal ultrasound-guided needle aspiration — a 15–20 minute procedure under sedation.

3. Fertilization (ICSI or Conventional): Eggs are incubated with sperm. For male factor infertility, ICSI injects a single sperm directly into the egg cytoplasm, achieving 70–80% fertilization rates.

4. Embryo Culture & Grading: Embryos develop in time-lapse incubators. On day 3 (cleavage stage, 6–8 cells) or day 5–6 (blastocyst stage, 100+ cells), embryos are graded by morphology for transfer priority.
